My food is vaping
Click to play video This is not my first cooking steamer but it’s my largest one. I love vegetables and I eat a lot of them: zucchinis, carrots, potatoes, broccolis, … . A steamer is convenient, allowing you to cook them all at once and faster. Previously I owned two steamers with 3 tiers. These steamers were smaller, and had less capacity than this one. This one is a big step up. All the trays (two) are stainless steel, the top lid is glass and the diameter is over 11”. You can use the bottom pan to cook too, but I wouldn’t advise that. It can be a bit challenging to clean it, because it’s not removable, due to the built-in display. The color and shape are a little outdated (please brown was a good choice for a 70s appliance, we are in the 21st century!) and the controls are not very user friendly (you better read the instructions), but the material quality is good and it is well designed. Once you turn it on, it takes just a few minutes for the steam to appear. I am very satisfied with the results: All foods were perfectly cooked and ready to eat. The tiers are very easy to wash, with the exception of the bottom pot, because as I mentioned, the steel pot is not removable from the base. So far it is my best steamer and I plan to use it a lot.
